RGB LED Modules

In many professional installations, RGB modules are paired with standard 12V white LED modules for the sign areas that do not require dynamic colour changes. This approach optimises the budget by reserving RGB technology only for high-impact zones, while efficient white modules cover the rest of the surface.

RGB Technology for Signage and Events

Each module integrates three diodes (Red, Green, Blue) into a single package. Using an external controller (not included), these channels mix to create millions of colors. This allows for color-changing sequences, smooth transitions, or fixing specific corporate tones as needed.

It is the standard for spectacular lighting in events, stages, and nightlife venues. In signage, an RGB sign captures attention much more effectively than a static one. It allows adapting the business image according to the season, time of day, or specific marketing campaigns.

Industrial Quality and Smooth Color Mixing

The technical challenge of RGB modules is achieving a good blend of the three primary colors without visible individual points. Our modules use a 160º optical lens designed for exceptional light diffusion. This ensures that when backlighting acrylic or banners, the resulting color is uniform and vibrant across the entire surface.

They feature IP67 protection, making them suitable for outdoor installations exposed to rain. Robust construction guarantees long service life even in demanding environments. To complete your installation, visit our LED power supplies section.

Frequently Asked Questions about RGB LED Modules

What is the difference between analog and digital RGB?

Analog RGB changes all modules to the same color at once, ideal for signs and façades with a single uniform color. Digital (addressable) RGB such as WS2811/SPI lets you control each module individually for pixel-by-pixel effects, chases and low-resolution video.

Can I install RGB LED modules outdoors?

Yes. All our RGB modules are IP67 rated, suitable for outdoor installation exposed to rain and humidity. For permanent submersion choose IP68 models.

Which controller do I need for RGB modules?

For analog 12V/24V RGB you need an RGB controller with RF, DMX or Bluetooth receiver (mobile app compatible). For digital RGB you need an SPI controller such as K-1000C, K-4000C or K-8000C depending on the pixel count.

How many RGB modules can I connect in series?

It depends on power draw and cable cross-section. As a rule of thumb with 0.75 mm² cable you can connect up to 20-25 modules of 0.72W per line at 12V, twice that at 24V. For longer runs use intermediate power injections.
