Red LED Modules

Maximum Visibility and Attention-Grabbing Power

Red is the colour that best captures human attention. Visual perception studies confirm that our peripheral vision detects red before any other tone, explaining its universal use in stop signs, traffic lights and alerts of all kinds. That is why it remains the first choice for emergency signage, commercial offers and signs that need to stand out from their surroundings.

Technical Characteristics of Red LED

Our modules use LED chips with a wavelength around 620-625nm, producing an intense, pure and highly saturated red. This tone works especially well in low ambient light conditions, where its contrast with the environment achieves maximum visual impact.

The luminous efficiency of red LEDs is naturally high, as the conversion of electrical energy to red light is more direct than for other colours. This translates into lower consumption for the same perceived intensity, benefiting both your budget and the module's lifespan.

Common Uses in Signage

Animated LED pharmacy crosses, illuminated "OPEN/CLOSED" signs, emergency exit signage and discount and promotion signs are classic applications where red LED demonstrates its full potential. In hospitality, bars, restaurants and nightlife establishments regularly use this colour to create atmosphere.

The retail sector leverages red to highlight offers and sales, taking advantage of the colour's psychological association with urgency and opportunity. In industrial settings, it is used for safety signage and marking of restricted areas.

Combine red modules with green modules to create bicolour effects in pharmacy crosses or alternating signage. If you need programmable colour changes, see our RGB range with DMX or WiFi control.
