24V LED Modules

Greater Reach and Less Voltage Drop

24V LED modules are designed for professional installations where long runs are needed without losing brightness. By doubling the voltage compared to the 12V standard, each line can power more modules while maintaining uniform brightness from start to finish, considerably reducing the number of connections needed.

When to Choose 24 Volts

If your project includes large format signs, commercial facades or sizeable channel letters, the 24V system will save you time and materials. Fewer power lines mean cleaner installations, fewer connection points susceptible to failure and simpler long-term maintenance.

The physics is clear: at higher voltage, lower current for the same power. This translates into smaller cable sections, less heating at connectors and more homogeneous light distribution across the entire chain length. On runs over 3 metres, the difference from 12V systems is notable.

Power Supply Compatibility

We work with leading industry brands, including Mean Well power supplies in enclosed, open-frame and slim formats. The LRS, RSP and HLG 24V series are available in powers from 50W to 600W to cover any requirement.

The calculation is simple: add up the consumption of all modules in your installation and add a 20% margin. With that figure, select the next power supply up. Our technical team can help with sizing if you have questions about a specific project.

If you are looking for more compact installations, working with tight budgets or already have 12V infrastructure, check our selection of 12V LED modules. For transformer-free installations, see the 220V modules.

Frequently Asked Questions about 24V LED Modules

What is the main advantage of 24V LED modules over 12V? The main advantage is that they allow cable runs up to twice the length without loss of brightness. By operating at higher voltage, the current is lower for the same power, which reduces voltage drop and allows more modules to be powered in series with uniform brightness from start to finish. What power supply do I need for 24V LED modules? You should add up the total consumption of all modules in your installation and add a 20% safety margin. For example, if your modules consume 80W in total, you will need a power supply of at least 100W. We work with Mean Well power supplies in LRS, RSP and HLG series from 50W to 600W. Are 24V LED modules suitable for outdoor use? Yes, we offer 24V modules with IP67 protection, fully sealed against dust and water. They are ideal for facade signs, outdoor channel letters and signage exposed to the elements. The protection ensures reliable operation for years. Can I mix 24V LED modules with 12V modules in the same installation? It is not recommended. Each voltage requires its own dedicated power supply and independent circuit. Mixing voltages on the same line would damage the 12V modules due to overvoltage. If you need both voltages, they must operate on completely separate circuits.
