¿Cómo se asigna la dirección DMX en el S1-D?
Mediante el selector o display incorporado en el propio equipo y, si tu consola admite RDM, de forma remota sin necesidad de acceder físicamente al decodificador, algo muy útil en falsos techos y fachadas.
¿Qué cargas admite un regulador triac por corte de fase?
Lámparas LED y halógenas declaradas como regulables por corte de fase, transformadores ferromagnéticos y drivers compatibles con dimmer triac. Una carga no regulable puede parpadear o zumbar, por lo que conviene verificar la ficha del fabricante.
¿Necesito resistencia de terminación en la línea DMX?
Sí, se recomienda cerrar el último dispositivo de la cadena con una resistencia de 120 ohmios para evitar rebotes de señal y parpadeos, especialmente en tiradas superiores a 30 metros o con muchos receptores.

The S1-D dims 100-240V AC loads by phase cutting (triac) from the DMX512 signal, with 2 channels at 1A. It is the way to dim mains dimmable lamps, halogen transformers and 220V strips from a DMX installation.

Compatibility and protocols

It complies with DMX512, DMX512(1990), DMX512-A, RDM V1.0 (E1.20-2006 ESTA), so it works with any DMX desk, master or software on the market. RDM compatibility lets you read and change the address remotely from the console, without physically reaching the unit.

Installation and wiring

The DMX bus is wired in a daisy chain using 120-ohm shielded twisted-pair cable. Terminate the end of the line with a 120-ohm resistor and keep each segment under 300 metres; for longer runs or more than 32 receivers, insert a DMX signal amplifier.
