No. Es un controlador manual: basta con conectarlo al bus DMX, alimentarlo y mover los faders. No requiere software, ordenador ni grabación de escenas.
¿Qué significa el selector de polaridad DMX?
El estándar DMX-512 define los pines 2 (Data−) y 3 (Data+) del XLR. Algunos fabricantes invierten esa asignación. El selector del DRIVE 16 permite cambiar la polaridad para ser compatible con ambos tipos de equipos sin necesidad de cables especiales.
¿Cuántos receptores DMX puedo conectar al DRIVE 16?
El protocolo DMX-512 admite hasta 32 receptores en una misma línea sin necesidad de splitter. Si necesita más equipos, deberá intercalar un splitter/buffer DMX activo.
¿La fuente de alimentación viene incluida?
Sí. El producto se entrega con alimentador externo DC 12V / 20V – 500 mA listo para enchufar a la red eléctrica europea (230 V AC).

DMX-512 compatibility

The DRIVE 16 outputs standard DMX-512 (USITT) signal and is compatible with any DMX receiver on the market: RGB/RGBW LED fixtures, channel dimmers, fog machines, basic moving heads, DMX decoders for LED strips, etc. The polarity selector also allows operation with old or Asian equipment that inverts pins 2 and 3 of the XLR.

Quick installation

  1. Connect the included external power supply to the DRIVE 16 DC input.
  2. Link the XLR output of the DRIVE 16 to the first DMX receiver using a 110 Ω DMX cable.
  3. Daisy-chain additional receivers (up to 32 without splitter).
  4. Move the faders to adjust each channel and use the Master to control the overall level.
