Electrical calculation and power supply
Each module draws 1 W at 12 V DC (0.083 A). In a 50 mm deep box with 100 modules/m² the load reaches 100 W/m², so a 150 W power supply covers one square metre with margin. Always size the driver with 20% headroom and limit each series to a maximum of 30 modules per cascade to avoid voltage drop and brightness differences between the first and the last module.
